Shane arrives at a course he is very comfortable with, and if we have a look back over his performances here over recent years it is easy to see why the bookies having close to the top of the market. Shane has 3 top 6 finishes in his last 5 visits to Wentworth, including close runners-up finish as recently as 2014, which included a sparkling round of 64. His form this year has not been his best, but he has made 14 cuts from 17 events so far spanning across both tours, and coming from a difficult week in front of his home fans in Ireland, this could be the week to see Shane Lowry kick start his year.
