    Hi Kev

    Yep I was fairly confident and he was travelling well until he hit one of the fences hard which knocked the wind out of his sails.

    Having watched the race again I do not think he would have won even if he had not made the error, however without the error I think the place would have been assured as you wrote on your blog mate.
