    Hi Mark,

    You didn't have any luck with your faller at Fairyhouse. The next was placed. That's the trouble with the National Hunt - those dreaded obstacles.

    It's situations like that, where I am pleased that I am cultivating a long term view, because I know that there will be occasions where my selections benefit from another horse taking a tumble.

    Hi Mark,
    Very unfortunate with Chaperoned had traded at 1.25 on Betfair before toppling this despite a massive drift beforehand, just shows your selection process is spot on, and as you say one day we will come out the right side of one of these. Keep up the good work.

    You are quite correct in what you say and it just goes to show that it can pay to dig a little deeper than the bare results so as to get a better idea of the quality of selection.

    To the casual observer yesterdays result would have been just another poor unplaced selection, however to someone such as yourself who takes the time to investigate further, you realise that there was not a lot wrong with the selection.
