Quotation Of The Week – Beware The Money Pit!!!

First a quick reminder of what the ‘Quotation Of The Week’ award is all about:

The idea is simple: Every time I find a quotation that I think will add real value for my blogs readers, I will bookmark it and put it on my list to be the: Quotation of the Week.

I will then write a post similar to this one explaining why I have decided on that particular weeks Quotation.

I will also link to it from my Quotation of the week icon situated near the top of my side bar

My Quotation of the week award will be posted every Friday.

For a full list of previous winners visit my ‘Quotation Of The WeekPage.

This week’s winner of my ‘Quotation of the week award is:

“If you find yourself in the bottom of a deep hole, the first thing to do is stop digging!

Anonymous Trader.

In my opinion the biggest reason for losses by sports speculators, whether they are traders or outright punters is the drive to chase losses.

In the calm of planning our trades or punts we would never entertain the idea of chasing losses, however once in the high pressure cauldron of the sports speculation markets it is all too easy to forget logic and try to win our losses back at all costs.

If you are a sports speculator that is susceptible to fall prey to the powerful forces that urge the need to get your money back at all costs, the advice I would give is to print this quote and tape it to the edge of your PC monitor so as to act as a constant reminder of the dangers.

I hope you have enjoyed this post
Stay patient

  1. Excellent post, as always mark

  2. Thanks for the support Steve.

I think that if we are honest, the majority of us have fallen victim to the loss chasing syndrome at some time or other, so I could really appreciate this quotation.

    Thanks again
