As regular readers of my blog will know I follow a portfolio of free or donation based tipsters that I call my Portfolio Lite, I also follow a portfolio of subscription based tipsters that I call my Benchmark Portfolio.
Until today the two Separate portfolio’s were made up as follows.
Yesterday Robert from the Bechers Brook blog confirmed that he was moving to a subscription based model for his service, for details click here:
I did not blame Robert for making that decision as the results he has been achieving and the work that he puts into his selections demands that he should get a reward for his efforts. My only concern was how much he was going to charge! Well I need not have worried because he is charging the grand total of TEN POUNDS a month.
When you consider that figure is only a tiny percentage of the profits his selections have made for my portfolio Lite (which backs at £1 a point) and when you consider that he will be sending out emails detailing horses of interest as well, then I believe it is by far the best value £10 a month I can spend to further my education (and bank balance) with regards to the horse racing markets. Oh and Yes I have already paid my first months subscription.
This left me with a dilemma though, I would need to move Bechers Brook from my portfolio lite to my Benchmark portfolio.
Now I have made a decision to help simplify matters with regards to my portfolios.
I AM GOING TO ONLY HAVE ONE PORTFOLIO THAT WILL BE CALLED MY PORTFOLIO LITE AND IT WILL CONSIST OF FREE AND DONATION BASED TIPSTERS PLUS SUBSCRIPTION BASED TIPSTERS THAT CHARGE LESS THAN £20 A MONTH.
I believe that the above will keep to the spirit of why I created my portfolio Lite in the first place, which is to find and publicly follow really affordable and profitable tipsters that operate in a highly professional manner.
So with that said, from now on all of the current tipsters that I follow, including Bechers Brook and The Market Examiner, will be included in my Portfolio Lite.
