My Blog Post Award: It’s Massive!

First a quick reminder of what the ‘Blog Post Award’ is all about:

The idea is simple: Every time I find a blog post (new or old) that I think will add value for my readers, I will bookmark it and put it on my list to win the: Blog Post Award.

I will then write a post similar to this one explaining why I have decided on that particular post.

I will also link to the post from my blog post Award icon situated near the top of my side bar

For a full list of previous winners visit my ‘Blog Post Award Page.

Now on to the main event; The winner of my  ‘Blog post Award’ :

From the excellent  Bechers Brook blog.

I found the blog post of the week very easy to choose this week; I have also kept this post as short as possible because this week’s Blog Post Award winner is massive (don’t let that put you off though because I believe that the post offers just as massive value for those prepared to study it.)

Basically the post is a list of 10 horses that Robert, the blogs author, highlights as horses to follow for the 2011 flat season. At over a 6000 words long and containing links to numerous highly relevant resources, the post gives compelling and comprehensive arguments for why he has chosen each of his 10 selections.

What shines through from the post more than anything else for me though is the obvious passion and enthusiasm that Robert has for his sport of choice. Little wonder that his tips are so successful.

As I have written on numerous occasions, it is my belief that it is imperative for our long term profitability as sports speculators that we are constantly trying to improve our knowledge regarding our chosen pursuits. I also believe that by reading posts such as Roberts 10 horses to follow post, we will rapidly accelerate that learning process by examining how someone with a truly professional attitude approaches his pursuit of choice.

There is little more to say really except that I think that it would be a brave punter who would bet against his list of horses showing an overall profit for the season.

Oh and one more point; I think I have just found my next addition to my Portfolio Lite, any guesses who it is?

I hope you have enjoyed this post.
Stay Patient
