Introducing My Sports Trading Lite Diary!

As I explained in this post: Reconstruction Under Way, Phase One! I plan to start posting  about my exploits in the world of sports trading.

The posts will come under the banner of what I will call ‘My Sports Trading Lite Diary’. The reasons for this new addition to my blog are that I believe that regular profits can be made from trading on the sports markets and by describing my forays into the markets it will help my focus and discipline.

The reason that I am using the name My Sports Trading Lite Diary is because I will be starting with a bank of just £100. ( I will top up the account with another £100 though if I lose all of the initial deposit)

I was torn between using the excellent free Geeks Toy trading software and Bet Angel trading software. However I have decided that I will use The Bet Angel trading software, even though I will have to pay a subscription fee, primarily because there is a version that is designed for use with the Betdaq exchange as well as the version for use with Betfair and with all of the recent outcry about the latest Betfair premium charges I would like to be able to use Betdaq as much as possible. (even though I am miles away from paying any premium charges at the moment!!)

I am not going to limit my options but I do anticipate most of my trading will be done in either the football, tennis or horseracing markets.

I will be reporting on my progress with a monthly report and with miscellaneous post when I feel that I have something of value to write.

I hope that you have enjoyed this post

Stay Patient
Mark

Hmmm... The betdaq version is free

you could use Geeks Toy for Betfair and BA (or Gruss or Daqbot) for Betdaq for free

  2. Hi Cran

Thanks for the comment. As I wrote it really was a difficult decision.

I did consider the options that you mention however I am very time limited and having to spend time learning how to operate different software did not really appeal to me.

My hope is that the The Geek creates a version of his software for Betdaq and then I can consider changing back.

    Thanks again
