Hello Again; Here’s The Details Of My New Look Portfolio Lite.

Firstly I must apologies for the lack of posts recently.  I will not bore you with reasons that to you will not mean a lot, instead I would like to focus on the future and explain more about the changes to my blog that I outlined in this post: Changes Again! Bank On It!!

As the Post Describes I am restarting Portfolio Lite with a starting bank of just £500.

My reasons for the above are that I believe that there are a huge number of people who would like to take the plunge with a portfolio approach to betting but are put off by the potentially huge sums of money needed to be used so as to pay the large subscription fees that a lot of the tipsters charge.

My way of structuring the portfolio allows for a small start up bank and only small monthly contributions.

The Portfolio will consist of the following:

Point size equal to betting bank divided by 100(half a point each way)

Point size point size equal to the betting bank divided by 250 (half a point each way)

Point size point size equal to the betting bank divided by 250 (half a point each way)

Point size point size equal to the betting bank divided by 250 (half a point each way)

Point size point size equal to the betting bank divided by 125 (half a point each way)

Point size equal to betting bank divided by 100 (half a point each way)

Point size point size equal to the betting bank divided by 125 (half a point each way)

If the bank doubles I will double my bets.  If the bank halves I will halve my bets.

I will be posting a monthly profit and loss report, but will post in between reports if anything of significance happens.

I know that I am going against what is regarded as best practice for running a portfolio by having the same bank for all tipsters, instead of having separate banks, but I believe that I have built in enough of a cushion to allow for any losing runs.

Due to such a wholesale change to my Portfolio Lite I am going to reset all of tipsters profit and loss figures back to zero Including my Eachway tips.
The new format will start from tomorrow (July 7th)

Just to remind regular readers and to explain to new readers, I only bet one bet for each tipster per day regardless of how many tips they give on the day.

This is just the start of many changes to the blog which I hope will add more value to its content.

Finally, just to whet your appetite, tomorrow I will be introducing a new addition to the Portfolio Lite ;-)

I hope you enjoyed this post

Stay patient

  1. Mark,

I strongly agree with you on running one bank for the different services for the exact reasons that you explained. When one or two services are in a losing run, the others will make up for the losses. Occasionally all will be winning which leads to a huge profit. basically you will be losing a little..winning a little and occasionally winning big..now that's a strong betting strategy.

    Best of luck!

  2. Hi Jerry It's good to hear from you.

"basically you will be losing a little..winning a little and occasionally winning big..now that's a strong betting strategy"

Now where did I learn that strategy ;-)

There will be the rare days where all of the selections lose, but as I wrote there is a big enough cushion built into the bank size to cope with that eventuality.

Good to see that your new methods are showing signs of success.

As always I will be watching.

    Mark
